A dear friends' farewell 11.04.2008

Kuku veggies minus 2. Joee and Tingmei were missing from group. Commitments. Owells, we had fun, loads, without them. The spiderwick chronicles in the afternoon with minny and sooey. Minny is doing well with a GPA of 3.plus plus. sorry i don't recall the exact figure. :P Sooey is doing well too. She recently returned from a fully sponsored exchange programme in Perth. cool or what. haha. It's my turn soon!

We had lunch at Ichiban boshi. And I thought I would never eat Japanese in Singapore again after all the yummy stuff I've tried in Japan. Heidi, Minny and Sooey!

Camera-loving people.

After the movie, we were joined by Sawee and Hejing for dinner! Korean dinner at Crystal Jade, Takashimaya. They sure look stupid in the various poses. haha.

The appetizers came, followed by the shoju, 烧酒. Bleah. The shoju they sell here= ionised alkaline water. Eewww.

On sawee's recommendation, we ordered a set which includes bimbab, ginseng chicken and grilled mackerel. Grilled beef is extra.

Bon appetit!
Kuku veggies minus 2 plus one(hejing).
It's abit weird posing in the toilet like that. It is not unlike an invasion of pubescent, cam-whoring girls that we oh so detest. haha.

Dessert at coffee club~ Muddy mud pie, a public favourite. And a venetian chocolate cake, on minny's insistence.

Appreciating the night view.
Come collect the photos~

A Neighbours' Farewell 08/04/2008

Introducing my neighbours! All whom I spent my childhood playing with. We went through alot together. haha. I absolutely adore their company.

Dinner was cooked by my father. He's a fantastic cook. haha, he calls this sambal kailan. Weird right? But it taste surprisingly good. First dish to be wiped out.
Assam fish. Looks murky but taste great too.
My father's famous sweet sour prawns. As my father is in the seafood industry, I am fed with the best seafood from young. So much that I do make a conscious effort to stay away from seafood as much as possible. However, I now think that I will miss my father's seafood and will probably be looking for the same quality of seafood when I am in Australia. haha. How ironic yeah?
Steamed pomfret. Second to be wiped out.
Fried rice.
After dinner, we decided to go for dessert at Haato at Serangoon Gardens. We managed to persuade Nick to come along. The boys cycled, while we half walked and half bused.
All grown up.
Gayed and beyond. I am surrounded by the gayiest people. At home, in school and at work.
Rochelle and I. Rochelle has the craziest laughter I have ever known. Her laughter has been a constant companion of my ears when I was just a little girl. haha. Can you imagine?

Ermm, what's taking my brother so long to position the camera??
He saw a pretty lady and thus, was too stunned to move. Raging hormones of a teenage kid. haha. :P
From left, Eugene, Nick, Jianda, me and Rochelle. Happy Holidays!

A Class Farewell 05/04/2008

Another attempt at class bonding, and it got a sub-pass. Dinner was very well. An ala carte buffet at Zhou's kitchen, Far East Square. The girls, except for stef, went on a crazy binge from start till end. They guys, except amos, nibbled away like little mouses. haha. It is a little exaggerated but that's the general picture.

Class bonding.

Only half of what we ordered. And we only ordered the appetizers.
Aileen and I. The only two who attacked the crabs. Poor crabs.
Amos, with a very gayed Larry and Marcus.
Soon Kwang, Elizabeth and Xinyi.
The girls.
Ugly faces. :P
Pretty faces. :D

After dinner, stef left, and we were joined by Kaychun and Houren. wow, army does wonders to people. People in need of weight loss should just go straight to the army. They will give a hot bod and even pay for it ($450). Look how well Amos is doing.
The original plan of catching a movie failed, so we were left to find other stuff to do. After Amos and Elizabeth left and Zhihao came, we went to pub at boat quay, where Xinyi informed us of its bad reputation of hosting increasingly frequent life-threatening situations. Well, I returned safe enough to be able to blog about it. An hour or so later, we were outside Raffles Place MRT waiting for Zhihao to finish using the toilet.

So we played with the camera. After editing (i toned the colours and retouched abit), Kaychun still look like Kaychun. No improvement.

Amos says goodnight!
End.

A cousins' farewell. 04/04/08

Okay, my cousins came over to give me a farewell, or rather, I asked them over to give me a farewell. Whichever. haha. So i made pizza and spaghetti for them. I made tiramisu too. But i didn't think they can stomach any more for they wiped out my 1kg worth of sauce, most of my 1kg worth of dough and a packet and a half of spaghetti. We kboxed till 2am afterwards.

My pizza! which was promptly eaten by my very hungry mother. In the end, i didn't get to eat much, of both pizza and spaghetti. The sauce ran out and much of the ingredients ran out too. Owells. I have 15 cousins.
At 9pm, my cousins swarmed like bees to honey to the television to catch the last episode of this channel 8 show. haha, see how they are mesmerised by the media??
Only when the advertisements come that the spell is broken. haha.
15 of us in total. 2 didn't make it. We, girls, outnumber the boys 3 to 1. Hence it is proven that our Y chromosomes are genetically weak. ahh, that explains...
My many thanks to my cousins who turned up and just as many thanks to those who didn't make it. (i know you would have come if you could. :P) And I take immense delight in receiving the various presents. Like the mama apron, though highly impractical, is cute in many ways. The lovely larger than average card shows sincerity I have not seen in a long time. And the crabbetree and evelyn (my favourite brand!) bottles, I am bringing them to Australia. :D Thank you peeps! You guys must read my blog often and tag even more often k. :D Heidi out.

End.
